Our church used to organise blood mobile drives in the past and we started again last year, in response to a public call as there was a shortage of blood in the blood banks during the circuit breaker period. The experience was quite memorable. We not only had to take care of the usual logistics, we also ensured adequate safety measures were in place for medical workers, donors and volunteers.
Blood donation is one of the simplest ways to help people in need. The donation process takes just minutes but one contribution could change someone’s life forever.
